SMS Terms and Conditions

Introduction
Accavallo & Company LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses our RingCentral number (619) 573-1696 to communicate with clients regarding important information about tax preparation, bookkeeping, and other related services via SMS. By opting into our SMS communications, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which may be updated or changed from time to time. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically for any changes.

By agreeing to our Terms of Service, you consent to receive SMS messages from us. These messages may include:

  • Account updates on tax preparation, bookkeeping, and audit and other services 
  • Order confirmations
  • Promotional offers
  • Service alerts

Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary depending on the services you use and your interactions with us. You may receive messages related to tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll tax filings, reminders, updates, and other relevant financial services.

Fees and Charges
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Please check with your carrier for details on specific charges. Accavallo & Company LLC is not responsible for any additional fees or charges that may be incurred by your mobile carrier.

Opt-In
By providing your phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages, you consent to receive text messages from Accavallo & Company LLC. You can opt-in by replying “START” to any SMS message or by contacting us directly.

Opt-Out
You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages unless you opt back in.

Accavallo & Company LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the SMS service. We make no warranties regarding the availability, reliability, or security of the SMS service, and we are not responsible for any errors or interruptions in the service.

Payment and Refund Details
Payment for services will be outlined in separate agreements or invoices. No fees are associated with opting in or opting out of SMS messages. If there are any applicable fees for specific services, they will be communicated separately. Refunds will be processed in accordance with our standard policies and procedures.

Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly at [email protected] or (203) 925-9600 for assistance. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the state of Connecticut.

Sherri Fisher is a Tax Manager at Accavallo & Company, LLC.  Sherri has longstanding expertise in Trust and Estate Taxation, Eldercare, and Estate planning. Sherri appreciates the relationships she has built with estate planning attorneys and advisors, to provide a team approach to assisting her clients. Sherri also has seasoned experience in business and individual taxation and is partial to assisting start-ups in developing overall accounting and operating plans.

Prior to joining Accavallo & Company, LLC, Sherri was a manager in a large firm, servicing high net worth trust clients, business, and personal clients. She was also a Partner in a large bookkeeping firm, which specialized in cloud accounting systems for regional and national companies. Sherri led a team in assisting clients to organize their accounting systems.  She is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a B.S. degree in Accounting.    

Sherri’s experience includes working with companies and organizations in a variety of industries including:

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Sherri is an Intuit Advanced Pro Advisor, Intuit Future Firm Advisory Board member, member of the Valley WIN Network, and proudly served as past Connecticut Public School liaison for the Yale Tommy Fund for Childhood Cancer. Sherri enjoys time with her family, Cleveland sports, thrifting and gardening.
