Staff Accountant – Entry Level

Location: Shelton, Connecticut | Full-Time, in-office

This full-time role offers hands-on experience in tax, attest, and consulting services while providing mentorship and exposure to a variety of industries and clients. Whether you’re a recent graduate or working toward your degree, this is a great opportunity to launch your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and business tax returns
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with standard practices
• Reconcile accounts and prepare year-end adjustments
• Assist in the preparation of compiled financial statements
• Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure client satisfaction
• Support special projects as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or currently pursuing a degree (or equivalent experience)
• Fundamental understanding of GAAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (or willingness to learn on the job)
• A committed work ethic and eagerness to learn
