Joseph is a manager with Accavallo & Company LLC and has diversified experience in public accounting. His experience in public accounting includes managing attest engagements, participating in mergers and acquisitions, developing tax savings strategies for both individual and corporate clients and business development tactics.  He has actively participated in the annual audits of not-for-profit organizations, attest engagements for mid-size corporations and construction contractors. Prior to working with Accavallo & Company, LLC, Joseph worked with other accounting firms, managing audit and accounting engagements, reviewing individual and corporate tax returns and developing client relationships. Joseph is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut.

Joseph is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He continued his education at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he received his Master’s in Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance.

Joseph is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Karen L. Bodnar is a tax manager at Accavallo and Company, LLC. Karen is a certified public accountant in the state of Connecticut with over 30 years of experience. She is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and specializes in corporate and individual tax.​

Karen is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Jitendra Damania is a manager with Accavallo & Company, LLC and has over 32 years of diversified experience in accounting, audit, and tax. Jitendra provides audit, review, and accounting services to commercial, municipal and not-for-profit entities. He also provides specialized audit services required by HUD and compliance and auditing procedures required by Federal and State Single Audit regulations.  Prior to working with Accavallo & Company, LLC, Jitendra worked in regional to large national accounting firms, managing audit and accounting engagements for their clients in various industries and provided tax services to individual and closely held businesses. Jitendra received his Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Commerce from the University of Mumbai, Mumbai, India, and his Master of Science in Accounting from the University of New Haven, Connecticut . He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Sherri Fisher is a tax manager at Accavallo and Company, LLC. She is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She has 30 years of experience in public accounting and specializes in trust, estate, corporate and individual tax.​

Prior to joining Accavallo & Company, LLC, Sherri worked with other public accounting firms, managing the trust and estate department, reviewing fiduciary, individual, and corporate tax returns. Sherri was responsible for triaging and onboarding business accounting and bookkeeping engagements and is an Advanced QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor.

Cherie Worcester is a tax manager at Accavallo & Company, LLC.  Cherie values her client relationships that she has built through her 35+ years in the accounting profession.

Prior to joining Accavallo & Company, LLC, Cherie was a manager at a firm that services a range of industries as well as personal clients.  She is a graduate of the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Cherie has experience in many industries including family-run companies, medical and dental practices, restaurants, manufacturing, construction, real estate investments and service-based companies.

Cherie’s greatest joy in life is her family, including her husband, three daughters and five grandchildren.  Her 16 years as a Girl Scout leader were very rewarding as is now watching her daughters become leaders and mentors themselves.

Brian Ferris provides professional audit and accounting services for individual, business, and government clients. He has been working at Accavallo and Company since 2020 and has developed strong client relationships through his experience. He graduated Cum Laude from Central Connecticut State University and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting.

He specialized in HUD Federal and State single non-profit audits, and in complex tax issues including 1031 Exchanges.

Brittany Marino has been an accountant at Accavallo & Company for two years. She began her accounting career with Lemieux & Associates in 2018 and joined Accavallo and Company when they acquired the firm in 2020.  She is highly experienced in preparing individual and corporate tax returns. Brittany graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2018, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Klea Seferi joined Accavallo and Company in May 2021. She graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2020, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance. Klea continues to gain expertise in accounting, auditing, individual and corporate tax preparation, and is pursuing her masters degree at Sacred Heart University.
